Hit the Gym

If you start working out a few months before your wedding, you will look and feel great for the biggest day of your life. Whether you want to go to the gym, go for runs, or play basketball with your groomsmen, get active a few times a week to tone up and feel more energetic. Plus, exercise is proven to reduce anxiety, which is great to counteract the stress of wedding planning. If nothing else, do it so you have the energy to party all night with your friends, family and spouse.

Shave and Moisturize

The most important part of shaving to ensure you have a smooth and soft face is to use a brand-new razor and a well-loved moisturizer. It may seem easiest to just throw whichever razor you’ve been using into a duffle to be used on your wedding day as well, but this could cause nicks and scarring. An even easier route is to order shaving products online. If you order a razor, shaving cream and moisturizer online, you can keep them all in the shipping box and throw them aside to be used specifically for the wedding. Plus, you can do this weeks or months in advance and not have to think about it again!

Style Your Hair

This may come as a shock, but your haircut and style should be something you plan out months in advance. Doing so will keep you from worrying about it during those very stressful days leading up to your wedding. Decide the cut and style you want, and start getting it from your barber 3-6 months before your wedding. Also ask for product recommendations from them as well, so you can achieve a flawless look. The farther in advance you do this, the more practice you will have styling it. On the morning of your wedding, your hair will take you virtually no time to perfect!

Whiten Your Teeth

On your wedding day, you will be all smiles (hopefully)! If the colour of your teeth is something you are self-conscious about, consider teeth whitening products. There are so many options these days! You can talk to your dentist about professional whitening, get a whitening toothpaste, or use an at-home whitening product like strips or pens. If you don’t want to add an extra step to your daily routine, just switch out your regular toothpaste for a whitening one, and you’ll be on your way to a whiter smile. There are even more natural remedies if you’re nervous about damaging your teeth with strong whitening chemicals. For all of these options, it’s something you should look into a few months before your wedding, so you have time to get the pearly whites you’ve been dreaming of!
