Winner of the The 2008 North York Chamber of Commerce Business Excellence Award for Hospitality, The Ontario Science Centre, was built in 1969 and was inspired by the wooded, curvaceous area of the site. Architect Raymond Moriyama designed the complex to include three main buildings connected by a series of escalators to mimic and highlight its natural surroundings along the Don River.
While the Ontario Science Centre continues to hold exhibitions to the public and engages in various programs to educate people on scientific matters, it also offers 18 different rentable spaces, including 2 outdoor spaces, their wide range of options can welcome from 20 to 1200 guests in a single space for your private events. Building wide rentals are also available and can comfortably accommodate up to 5000 guest.
From weddings, to corporate events and holiday business parties, you will surely find what you’re looking for. Team Building programs can also be added as part of your corporate event experience. This place of science and progress, has in house electrical support and audio visual professionals to assist with your event and offers generous parking to take in all your guests.
Only 15 minutes from downtown Toronto, the Ontario Science Center’s versatility makes it an ideal choice for your next event. From the beautiful Novopharm Lobby, and its luxuriously open area featuring natural light from its full floor-to-ceiling windows, to the outdoor KRG Terrace allowing guests to enjoy cocktails at dusk while soaking up scenic views, the possibilities for your afterhours events are endless...
