Doughnut flavours have come a long way from traditional glazed and old-fashioned. Gourmet has taken over the stage to offer a wide range of fillings and icings, so your options are practically limitless. Mini, regular-sized, or an assortment of both, doughnuts can be served in many ways.

Arrange a doughnut wall to display all of the different flavours for guests to pick and choose what they want. Consider leaving some take-home bags on the side for friends and relative to pack some for the road.

Display them as a multi-tiered cake or on tiers spread across the table. To get the best fillings and treats, search out local bakeries and shops to find the right caterer to work with.

3. An Ice Cream Cart

Having an ice cream cart is a tasty treat sure to bring out the kid in all of your guests. Stick to simple flavours, such as chocolate and vanilla, and offer an assortment of toppings, such as sprinkles, syrups, fresh fruit, candies, whipped cream, and hot fudge. For those who don’t, or can’t, eat dairy, offer a lactose-free option, such as sherbet.
