The warm weather is finally here to stay, so why not take your next event outside? Whether you prefer to feel the buzz of the city or you’re looking for a serene landscape, these event venues are sure to have exactly what you need and just what your guests are hoping for: fresh air! And the best part? They’re all downtown Toronto. Who says you need to leave the city for an outdoor escape?

1. The Everleigh

Located in the heart of the King West district, the Everleigh is a unique venue mixing old and new world concepts. Showcasing local and international artwork and century-old antiques, this space also combines vintage and street style. With an open layout, this venue is not only conveniently located for guests, but also versatile to fit whatever type of social event you’re planning.

2. Maison Mercer Terrace

Maison Mercer is a multi-level events venue equipped with features suitable for almost any type of social event with a capacity ranging from an intimate 250 to an extravagant 1300 guests. Better yet, the rooftop terrace can accommodate up to 350 people and is reminiscent of a lush, French-style garden combined with hints of modern touches. Situated in Toronto’s entertainment district, the open air concept allows for stunning views of the city’s skyline while leaving the hustle and bustle below.

3. Cube

With a stunning view of the CN tower and room for up to 300 people on the rooftop patio alone, this venue is sure to entice the senses. The moveable furniture makes it easy to transform this space–complete with three cocktail bars–into any type of event. If you feel the need to take your guests inside, there’s space for another 350 in the main room with a contemporary, modern style. The private entrance off the trendy Queen Street West is perfectly manicured and even has valet parking available.

4. Burroughes Events

The Burroughes Building is the tallest on the Queen West strip, offering three unique event venues to choose from. If you’re ready to get outdoors, the 7th Floor–included with the 6th Floor space rental–boasts a 360-degree view of Toronto’s cityscape to impress up to 140 guests. Complete with a bar, lounge area and overhead hanging Edison bulbs, this bare bones space can be easily transformed to fit any theme and style once patio season hits. For a more rustic feel, this hard loft is perfect if you’re looking for exposed beams, brick walls and original hardwood with 6000 square feet of space to play with inside.

5. Gibraltar Point

Are you looking for something unconventional and more casual to host an event? Gibraltar Point has a variety of event venues to choose from–all including a beautiful view of Lake Ontario. Located on the Toronto Island, Gibraltar Point has it all from indoor spaces, beach access and beautiful lawn areas to use for whatever your heart desires. From weddings to family reunions and music festivals, this beachfront space feels like a home away from home.
