An Expansive Space

Admittedly, the sheer size of the Atrium leaves an impact as you are taken in by a five-storey bio-wall, a three-storey slide and two-storey doors that lead to the waterfront promenade. The Atrium can be expanded past the waterfront promenade onto Canada’s Sugar Beach with appropriate fencing and City of Toronto permits. Even on its own, the Atrium boasts a 6.5 meter by 4 meter LED screen and a large kitchen, making it a great space for a cocktail reception, product launch, or presentations.

This room can also be combined with the Third Floor Studio Lounge and the Orientation Space on the ground  floor. The combined areas for seated events can hold 250 people or for a standing event 676 people. The Orientation Space is a great area for greeting guests, featuring a rigging grid on the ceiling which can create dramatic lighting for events or turn the entire space into a shooting location. On its own, the Orientation Space can seat 28 guests or 92 when standing.

Rooftop

For a rooftop experience the Eighth Floor Lounge and Theatre offer unparalleled views of Toronto’s skyline and waterfront from inside with giant windows, to outside terraces. This area includes two green roof terraces equipped with patio furniture and barbeques. The Lounge space seats 70 guests, has a bar and a flexible layout. The Theatre is equipped with current technology including motorized blinds to create a black out effect, while both the ceilings and walls were designed with acoustics in mind. Up to 102 people can be seated in the Theatre.

Screening Room

The Sixth Floor Screening room is a smaller room, seating 42 people which also has black-out curtains, perfect for small presentations. Corus Quay can offer a number of technologically equipped meeting rooms for conference, or workshop purposes. All of these rooms, including the Screening room are close to kitchen areas. Corus Quay is definitely an event venue unlike any other, located on the south side of Queens Quay East, just east of Lower Jarvis Street.
