The Roundhouse by Leon’s Factoids:
Frequent Use: Social Gatherings
Highlights: Open Spaces, History, LEED
® Certified

If you are looking for special, environmentally friendly, with history to boot, search no further than the Roundhouse event space at Leon’s. The Leon’s Roundhouse store opened in July 2009 as one of Canada’s most unique furniture stores, housed in a restored heritage building.

LEED® certified, the 9600 square foot event space preserves the best of the heritage setting with original curves and support beams clearly evident while demonstrating how to integrate sustainable strategies into a historic setting.

Part of a $25 million rejuvenation of the Roundhouse area in downtown Toronto, the Roundhouse was originally built in the 1920’s to house trains for the Canadian Pacific Railway.

With its semi-circular design including heritage features, the Roundhouse structure showcases its history by showing off its original wooden beams, windows and retired train tracks. Also preserved are the 32 foot ceiling, floor to ceiling windows and stunning brick walls, which account for over 60% of the finished area of the space.

So give our Team at Seventh Heaven a call to find out more about how this truly unique space can be a part of your special day!
