The MaRS Centre made its home inside a remarkable heritage building sporting the original brick façade that was once the Toronto General Hospital. This building is made more interesting by its additional combination with modern architecture. The MaRS Centre is the birth place of an integrated charitable organization bringing together the worlds of science, business and government to remove barriers and cultivate Canada’s economic and social development. Located in the heart of Toronto, in the Discovery District on College Street, between Bay Street and University Street this flexible facility is great for events as well.

The Atrium is the welcome point for all those who pass through the MaRS Centre. Being a four-storey high space flooded with natural light, there have been countless events from symphony performances, to lectures, exhibitions and receptions held here. The Auditorium located on the lower concourse, is a highly adaptable, single floor room. A maximum of 380 people can be seated in the Auditorium and risers can be used to create theatre seating in this warm and contemporary room. Additional features include rigging points on the ceiling to allow for custom lighting, and the ability to reposition the room layout for up to four room segments.

Within the MaRS Centre the Collaboration Centre contains six different Collaboration Rooms ranging in size to seat between 6 and 80 people for corporate meetings, workshops, team building exercises and more. All of these room are very well equipped with the finest in AV technology to help your business meeting be a success. The Collaboration rooms are brought together by comfortable modern furnishings and inviting decor including wood accents and warm tones for a calming atmosphere.
