The Royal Conservatory of Music’s TELUS Centre for Performance and Learning was opened in 2008, elegantly expanding the historic building. Well located in the centre of Toronto with a rich history of inspiring and educating over the last 125 years, it is a magnificent place for many special events. The TELUS Centre for Performing and Learning was designed by KPMB Architects who have masterfully integrated modern grace in the new facility with the classic magnetism of the historic building.

Koerner Hall is a unique theatrical event space featuring first-class communications technology and unparalleled acoustics. The concert hall seats 1,135 boasting superb sightlines from all seats, a canopy of floating ribbons of wood and a sophisticated interior ambiance. This venue is suitable for a range of events including award shows, concerts, large general meetings, fundraising galas, film screenings, musical theatre, lectures, performances and more.

The Leslie and Anna Dan Gallerias offer a number of breathtaking views of downtown Toronto while the Koerner Hall lobbies are an aesthetically riveting place for an event. The main lobby is attached to another two upper lobbies by glamourous floating staircases. The lower level can receive 350 guests, or 200 seated for dinner, while the middle level holds 200 guests and the uppermost level accommodates 80 guests. Depending on the needs of the cocktail reception, dinner, fundraising, or academic event or other affair the lobbies are required for, they may be rented separately or all together.

The other two areas available for events are the Atrium, home of the b’espresso bar which is ideal for receptions, dinners, or as an entrance way into events in the Koerner hall. The Atrium can entertain 180 people. Also holding 180 people in a theatre or reception style, or respectively 160 guests seated for dinner, the Conservatory theatre should not be over looked. An impressive space, with large window to allow natural light and acoustic curtains to provide customization, the theatre accommodates performances, rehearsals, dinners, presentations and more. To tip the scales, there is a bar as well.

The TELUS Centre for Performance and Learning, with its stylish flare from floor to ceiling windows to its flawless reputation is an enchanting venue for any downtown Toronto event.
