As summer comes to an end, many of the open restaurants and bars around the city are closing their outdoor spaces. Cooling temperatures may have some patios down for the season, but there are still plenty of party and event venues with an outdoor vibe that continue into autumn.

Download our free guide on everything you need to know about planning a corporate event.

For crisp nights and sunny days, get the most of the fall weather at these five party venues.

1. Steam Whistle Brewery

This local brewery is truly a multi-season party venue, so you can keep going as the season changes to autumn. Stop by for a brewery tour or attend one of their many events. Steam Whistle regularly hosts on-site events in addition to sponsored ones throughout the city.

Check out their latest open mic nights and folk sessions while enjoying their craft Pilsner in the lovely autumm weather. Steam Whistle Brewery is a perfect spot for the transitioning season. Spend an afternoon or night on location or enjoy a beer around Toronto.

2. Cube

Hidden behind the doors at Queen and Soho is Cube, the evolutionized Ultra Supper Club. Late night cocktails and socializing make it a perfect hang out spot. Soak up the last of the outdoor weather and give yourself a break from the nightclub experience with a rooftop patio. Scenic views, an open terrace and comfortable temperatures make it easy to enjoy the weather in this open, versatile space.

3. Rebel

The Sound Academy has been reincarnated as a Vegas-wannabe club named Rebel. Down by Polson Pier at the waterfront, Rebel boasts generous views of the city skyline, from both inside the venue and the outdoor terrace. A bonus is that the outdoor area is heated, which makes the season last even longer.

Two floors leave room for plenty of guests to enjoy a listed concert or a Saturday night. The ten million dollar overhaul revamped the entire venue to include visuals on screens, and light features along the walls, in circular and spiral patterns. Live entertainment in this revised venue provide an unparalleled experience, along with the ability to enjoy the fall weather.

4. Maison Mercer

Similar to Cube in spacing and rooftop availability is Maison Mercy, a party venue meant for enjoying the night with friends, drinks, and quality sound. In the heart of the entertainment district, it’s the perfect spot for a party. The swank rooftop is perfect for soaking up the night, the view, and enjoying the crisp fall night. Its indoor aura of strobe lights, LED lighting, elevated seating, and a dance floor all provide plenty of entertainment.

A state-of-the-art sound system has everyone enjoying the vibe in this multi-level venue. Take a break from inside and walk up to the patio for a cozy and contemporary feel enriched in a classic European garden. It’s open until late fall, providing ample opportunity to savour the weather. The terrace boasts incredible views of the city skyline that can be hard to find in a concrete jungle.

5. El Catrin

The Distillery’s Mexican restaurant may not strike everyone as a party place, but its late-night vibe makes it a perfect gathering spot. Authentic and modern Mexican is served alongside great ambience and great views no matter where you sit.

Folk art chandeliers are complemented by an Oscar Flores mural that’s black lit with glowing skulls. Its sprawling outdoor patio, with lantern-inspired lighting, is heated to enjoy sitting outside, despite the end of summer. It’s a big restaurant that has ample seating for your next big party, including its own private section and a tapas style menu for guests to try a bit of everything.

The weather may be cooling off, but there’s still plenty of places available to enjoy the new season.
