Choosing your wedding venue is a huge deal. It’s the place that will be associated forever with one of the biggest events of your life. There are a lot of wedding venues in the GTA, but for such a special occasion, you’ll want to find something truly stunning. Luckily, there are three wedding venues in the GTA that definitely fit the bill. Stunning and accommodating, you’ll love all these venues.

1. W Event Boutique
The W Event Boutique is relatively new in terms of wedding venues in the GTA but it’s alreadyreceiving its share of buzz. Wedding venues in the GTA with lots of space, the ability to customize, and exemplary style can be difficult to find—W Event Boutique has all three in spades.
Located outside of Downtown Toronto, this is a venue that gives the couples (and guests) a break from the city while still maintaining the trendy, fashionable aesthetic that’s associated with wedding venues in the GTA. It has a real industrial chic feel to it, with exposed brick walls painted white, exposed pipework, and high-ceilings.
The clean, white interior offers another big advantage for wedding parties: it’s highly customizable. The venue is a sort of blank slate, ready for you to impart your own vision on to the space. To top it off, there’s tons of room. The W Event Boutique can accommodate sit-down parties of 200 and cocktail receptions of 350.
2. McMichael Art Collection
A great deal of the charm associated with the McMichael Canadian Art Collection comes from its location in Kleinburg. A small village located in Vaughan, Kleinburg is positively picturesque. Surrounded by beautiful countryside, replete with boutique shops and historical buildings, Kleinburg is the sort of location you’d dream of for your wedding.
However, the charm of McMichael Canadian Art Collection doesn’t solely depend on its location. In and of itself, McMichael Art Collection is quite spectacular. The building itself looks like a beautiful and rustic log cabin, with highceilings and wooden beams structuring the inside. While it has a lot of space for guests, it also feels very intimate, warm, and inviting.
The surroundings are equally stunning, as McMichael Canadian Art Collection is situated on conservation land. With walking trails and beautiful landscapes, it’s a great backdrop for wedding pictures. Finally, we’d be remiss if we didn’t mention that McMichael Canadian Art Collection has one of the largest displays of works by the Group of Seven in Canada, making it an ideal location for art-loving couples.
3. Waterworks
If you’re looking for stunning wedding venues in the GTA that are closer to the downtown area, then Waterworks might just be what you’re looking for. Situated right downtown, Waterworks is massive, historic, and absolutely beautiful.
Like W Event Boutique, Waterworks has only recently been open for weddings. Formerly a marketplace in 19th century Toronto, the Waterworks building, despite being one of the most impressive architectural specimens of its time, was abandoned for a number of years. In an attempt to revitalize the beautiful old building, designers set in on the place, restoring the building so that it would maintain some of its old charm while also offering a great deal of contemporary style.
The result is a venue that is the perfect mix between industrial chic, historical landmark, and warm and rustic wedding venue. Waterworks is another venue that could accommodate a great number of people. It feels quite cavernous, making it ideal for couples that have lots of friends and family who want to celebrate.
